Four questions from the Indian Diabetes Risk Score, a simple screening tool developed and validated in Indian adults. It estimates risk. It cannot tell you whether you have diabetes.

In its original validation, a score of 60 or more identified about seven in ten people with undiagnosed diabetes, while also flagging many who did not have it. It is a first step, not a diagnosis.
